Why so many problems?
September 21, 2012 | By: Cristiane Cardoso | Posted in: Behavior, Spiritual Growth
The saga with my computer lasted 4 days. I had projects and reports to complete, and so much to do… It wasn’t because of all the work; the problem was that the computer stopped working every 10 to 15 minutes! I was seriously day-dreaming of throwing it against the wall several times. Thankfully, after the busiest weekend, I was able to finish my projects. But I was only able to finish them because I found out what was the problem.
Just as computers stop working for a various internal reasons, we can also fail in various areas of our life, if our spiritual life is not going well. Try to remember the last time you had a problem with your husband or friend. How was your relationship with God doing? You can perhaps say it wasn’t bad, but it was probably a bit “dormant” and not as active as it could be.
When God is the center of our lives, we are not able to focus on the problem. It’s as though He shines His light over every area of our lives. That doesn’t mean we won’t have problems. But surely, we will react to them in a different way, as though God were orienting us the whole time.
If you want to change in regards to your marriage, work place, parents, friends, take my advice: fix your internal problems.

It’s a simple straight forward answer that we most probably don’t think about when we are in the midst of problems. When one’s relationship with God moving well, problems don’t shake because you are so focused on God that He feeds you directly on how to deal with whatever life throws at you, when your focus is not on God as it should be, the blows of life knock you down really hard and I have experienced this a bit too much honestly learning is daily.
HI Mrs.Cris.This is so REAL.Everytime i see myself consentrating on my problems ,it is because have allowed my problems(thinking about them, focussing on them negatively) to be a priority.
I have spend more time on the problem where i should havbe gone to the Throne of God first to seek His guidance, and strength. And as you said before,HIS LIGHT WILL OVERDSHADOW ANY PROBLEM WE FACE.
That very true, Mrs. Cris. If our inner strength is weak surely it will reflect on the outside. Thanks for sharing.
This is so simple and easy to understand! This is sooo true, when problems seem to disturb me most, is when I am not doing all I can in my relationship with God, but when there is a problem and my relationship with God is strong, the problems that are so ‘big’ dont seem to bother me anymore.
Thanks mrs Chris for sharing I totally agree with you when God is the Center of our life we will be able to face our problems with out any stress because He will guide us and help us find the way those who are from God over come the world.

Like a computer can not work properly as you are saying it’s from internal . To see a problem in our life is the same we have to fix the internal first our spiritual life, then we can see, it’s not a problem anymore because we know God would show us the way how to solve it. We don’t take as a problem but as work where we know we have to fix it.
Thank you Mrs Cris for sharing,
God need people He can trust and He chose and trusted you that you will deliver what He wants to say to His people at a certain time, we read your blogs and laugh alone, cry alone, sing and sometimes dance alone and whatever we do after that we needed for that particular time.
You sometimes write and it sound as if you are talking extremely loud, why? its because God made it sound like that so that I could wake up and pull up my socks. There are moments in my life I read a bible and repeat it over and over again to remind myself of the promises of God, and then read your blogs and they help me to understand the verse much more and its purpose in my life. This you are doing for the Honour and the glory of the Lord and indeed He is Honoured and Glorified.
This post has blessed me on this Day of Distinction, A clear difference has happened inside of me. Its not the first time I hear this words but today and this time I needed it
Thanks
Thank for the message Mrs Cristiane amd it’s true if things in our life are not going according to plan it means something is missing and it’s down to us to find out what is missing so it can be fulfilled. Instead of reacting the wrong way it’s better to think positive so the situation will be a positive ending.
this is very true indeed. God really makes everything easy when we set our eyes on Him. and, this message was definately for me
Thakyou Mrs. Cristiane x God bless x
Hi Mrs Cris!
I pretty agree with you! “When God is the center of our lives, we are not able to focus on the problem. It’s as though He shines His light over every area of our lives.” Yes we keep having problems, but just like Jesus overcome the world, we will overcome as well! This is according to what He said and there is no lie beyond it! Our Bishop here preached us just a week ago that Christians will have problems bigger than what we don’t expected but only those who choose to please GOD, those who will do His will and not our own will, would overcome because Jesus is with them, He will not let the righteous fall or forsaken! And this is one that inspires me in our everyday life and strength to face my Day, my problem! Because the center of my life is God!
Thanks for this post Mrs Cris!

with our own understanding everything seems to become a problem but with the Holy Spirit in us- having a good relationship with God, every problem turns to an opportunity to go above in our lifes and most importantly to know God even much more. Lucia RSA UCKG RUSTENBURG
Thank you so much Mrs.Cris for this helpful advice.
This is true ms Cristiane,
Fixing my internal problems is a battle I have every day.
Every day I win this internal battle the better may day goes and everything around me. But there are days that happens exactly the opposite. I’m fighting everyday to fix my internal battle, knowing that there will come a day that I will be winning this battle every day!
Sorry about the typos, the iPhone has a changes the words when it wants too :/
Dear Mrs Cristiane,
This is always the case, this week I faced a problem, well several actually :0) but after spending time with God and leaving everything in His hands the next day was much easier! I even made a mistake at work but because I was focused on please God and in Spirit I did what I needed to do and moved forward.
We resolve the problems quicker when we fix the internal problem, the outside can be a bit worn at times but if the inside is well the outside will soon reflect this internal well being.
God bless you.
