How to be born of God… Finale

The Cristiane that you know today was born! Yes, before this day I didn’t have anything to do with who I am… the change that occurs after the New Birth is incredible.
The prayer was over and my joy was so great that I wanted to go out and hug everyone, run to the top of a mountain and yell for everyone to hear: “Listen, you have to meet God!” The sadness of having to travel back home (New York, one of the places that I despised the most until that day), disappeared. I couldn’t wait to go back and talk about Jesus at school.
I was never the same again.
So, what’s the difference between those that say that they’ve gone to the Altar many times and still have not been born of God and my own experience?
It’s all in the you surrender yourself. They go and come back with the same bad habits, the same sins, the same mentality, the same doubts, the same reserves…
How can you surrender your body, heart and soul?
Body: Don’t pay attention to what your body asks. It’s God’s. It doesn’t matter how much you want to do bad things with your boyfriend, your body wants it but if you give it up to God, you won’t do such things. In my case, my body at the time, before this miracle, wanted to stay in Rio enjoying the beaches and spending time with friends. After the miracle: my body didn’t have such an influential voice. It was for God, it became the Temple of the Holy Spirit and I wouldn’t allow laziness or anything else to displease Him.
Heart: We are naturally full of feelings but you decide to use your faith and trust. Every time the doubts come, every time that anxiety comes, every time that worry comes, you transform them into faith. “Everything is going to be alright, God is with me.” In this way your heart is subject to your faith. All of my doubts and fears were sacrificed in that prayer and I finally gave in to the faith that doesn’t question or live by circumstances.
Soul: Everything you want, everything you wish to be, everything you dream, everything you have, everything you have already gone through, the good and the bad experiences, and everything that has to do with you, you surrender it to God. Now it doesn’t matter what you want but what God wants from you. Do you remember that I was saying that I couldn’t wait to go back to New York and evangelize at school?
He’s above everything. No reserves. Without any secrets that you hide under lock and key. Without that personal desire that won’t let you give in. Without that pride that you like to maintain. Without that bad habit that you don’t abandon for anything. Without reserves!
If this hasn’t happened to you, it’s because you haven’t given yourself 100%. If I were you, I would ask God to show me what I’m attached to and give it up to Him once in for all.

Hello, Mrs. Cris… maybe if I read this blog before being born of God, I could not relate with what you are saying… I remember myself how I used to be before being born of God. Although I am blessed in my finances, family, & health, I still know that something is missing in my life… I only heard other people saying that they received the Holy Spirit but I really could not understand what it means to be born of the Holy Spirit because I didn’t experienced it yet myself… Out of my curiosity and desire to have an encounter with God, I sought His presence. At first, I thought it was impossible but I really wanted to have an encounter with Him but my question was “How?”… As I continue attending the service every Sunday, I learned the first steps that I need to do: repent for my sins, leave my old life behind, seek the presence of the Holy Spirit with all my heart and mind, surrender my whole life to Jesus & follow the Word of God. Then, I was transformed… Now, I am complete! I will never forget that great day of my New birth! Thank you, Jesus! Blessed be God!
Been born of God is something I want to experience. I have heard how great it is and it is something unexplainable. I am so happy for you and I hope soon I will share my experience with you.

Thank you Mrs Cris, this is very good for me to spiritually check myself, though I believe that I have given my life in God’s hands. I know it is necessary to once again look inside and check…and also pray and ask God to reveal any thing that could still be there, that im attached to. Its a prayer of humbleness and it will bring me closer to God.
Thank you Mrs Cris, indeed this is so true because God can never deny us His all, His Spirit an encounter with Him, however our conduct is the one that prevents that miracle to happen. We have to do the first move of a total surrender then He will react. Not as my will but His. The enemy is not the devil but we should learn to overcome our innerself because that is where all the filthiness resides, our worst enemy is our own self. One decision can really bring a total transformation for the honor and the Glory of God because He is waiting and ready to give us this eternal blessing of a new birth.

This is true Mrs Chris, because we cannot give half or a bit of ourselves to God, because in this way we cannot have an experience with Him, He wants all of us body, heart and soul. And another thing is that we do not want to die to this world and we cannot live in both worlds, this world and God ‘s kingdom. But the latter is the right and best one.

Thank you for sharing Mrs Cristiane. Its a reminder of how totally God changes and marks us when we become born of Him! Its also a marker to check if you are really born of God in body, soul and spirit, because if one is missing, it didn’t happen but God is so wonderful that He gives us the opportunity to fall down, pur it out and truly be His once and for all

Thank you Mrs Cristiane for sharing with us, and I second you on the take of Salvation and surrending our all to Him. In the light of your comment you have highlighted things on a day to day we tend to compromise with and forget what is Our outmost goal which is Salvation………Letting go of the bad habbit and embarcing the things of God with a difference. As you highloighted “Our Body is the Body of the Holy Spirit” that needs not to be defilled but reserved in order to do the things of God. The second part of the Heart is connecting our Faith with intelligence, not emotions. Thirdly, Soul, swharing the gopsel. I have learnt in the past, when my ways have not been accordance with the way of God, I had no zeal to share the gospel with people. Thank you for instilling in us the “First Love which is The Lord” ooh Salvation. xxxxx
Hi ,i was reading all the tree messages of the ( be born of God) and it help me a lot ,i was once born but i lost it,and now Im starting all over again,in this cam pain of mount mora i can see many changes already happening and i believe is just the beginning.

i am happy the day i went into this church an into the sister hood, i am learning alot an putting alot into practise, somethings are very hard to put a side or to change but i pray the lord that this will all be over some day …

according my understanding and my Belief.God and the devil.The work according my decision. cause God sad”Here there is blessings and here are Curses…. so me as a person Im given a powerful wepon that is the mind to take decision,so I wont say with my mouth I chose Blessings or curses,but my actions will speaks louder than my words,that also how the Birth comes,giving a full attention to God.
