Once upon a time there was a little sister…

…who lived in her older sister’s shadow. The oldest sister was the best at everything she did. At school, she had excellent grades and got lots of praises from her teachers, whereas the younger sister only got complaints from her teachers. The older sister had faith to conquer. Not the little sister. When the older sister heard about Sisterhood, she moved to the city just so she could take part in the group, on the other hand, the other one wasn’t at all interested. While her older sister now dressed more like a lady, she would dress the opposite. She became a gothic, dressed like a man and pierced her tongue. And because of her long face, she couldn’t make any friends and didn’t get along with anyone in the family.

Despite all of that however, she never stopped admiring her older sister… One day, her older sister gave her the “V Woman” book as a gift and a radical change happened…

That same sister that was failing school got into college and left the Nursing University as the best in her class. Two weeks later, she was put  in charge of the ICU (intensive Care Unit) in one of the biggest hospitals in her state and, at present, she is doing a master’s degree and a PhD in Neurosurgery. She is a coordinator for various state and social projects. She became a friendly woman, joyful, confident, affectionate, disciplined and without a doubt, she shines as much or more than her older sister.

Although she does not yet attend the church, she lives the V Woman book with such an intensity that it’s impossible not to see the shine of God in her. Her character and behavior reflect that of a virtuous woman. Today, at 22, she has decided that her first boyfriend will be her husband- just like the author of the book.

Her change is so apparent that it led her parents, who do not attend the church, to believe that faith can change any situation. Her mother has even started a “V Chain”. She gives the V Woman book as a gift to her friends and says: “After you read it, your mission is to pass it on to someone who needs it.”

Now, the three of them, mother and daughters are mobilizing in social networks, on the Facebook book page, putting not only photos of themselves but of other women who are being helped through the book.

    Dear Mrs. Cristiane,

Thank you once again for sharing.

I very much approve of what the big sister did. Sometimes words that come from a family member are not very much valued, but the VWoman book spoke volumes and I am certain it opened the young lady’s eyes and senses.

I nowadays find myself saying I ought to buy that woman, that girl and that friend of mine a VWoman. My hubby is also into it, and he recommends it to some women that he comes across when evangelising.

    God bless you.
