Finding true love

Many are the women who are trying to find a true love. Some have been deceived, betrayed, and have even given up on love. But I believe that there is someone special for everyone. The problem is that many women “fall in love” with the wrong person.
They let their hearts and emotions guide them to the wrong way. There are those that even find someone, but they know deep down inside that he’s not really the right person and think: he’ll change with time, I feel he loves me and that’s what’s important. But because the emotions speak louder than the mind, they end up getting involved and, later on, regretting it.
Others say:
There’s no one for me.
I look around and I see no one that’s right for me.
I’m getting old, I’ll never find someone.
Little do they know that if they seek and trust in God, He will put the right person in their way.
If you’re looking for someone and feel like time is going by and you haven’t met your other half, believe me, your other half does exist. God has the power to even make you meet someone that is miles away from you. You may think: but how?
I’ll give you my own example. I was born and raised in New Bedford, Massachusetts and my husband was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal. Two countries very far from one another. Two people that had no idea they would meet each other and that their future husband and wife was in a country very far away. I would had never imagined that my husband would come from Portugal, to meet me.
And that’s what exactly happened, God made things happen in a way so that we could meet each other. He knew that my other half was miles away. I was praying and trusting in God and my husband was doing the same. God saw our trust and faithfulness in Him and rewarded us for it. It’s been 18 years since we’ve met and we couldn’t be happier.
If you still haven’t met your other half, don’t loose faith. Seek God with all your strength. Be faithful and trust that God is preparing someone for you.
