Friendship

You’ve probably heard that phrase “In the work of God there are no friends” but this refers to the spiritual side. How so?
Let me explain, although we move from cities, states and countries, of course over the years we make valuable friendships, even though we are not always close or cannot contact each other, we know that our friends are always there when we need them, and it is good to know that we can count on each other prayers.
So let’s see when we can say that in the work of God there are no friends:
- We cannot put our friends above God, in other words depend on them to the point of resorting to them when we have a problem, rather than depend on God.
- The blessings in the work of God cannot happen through a friendship, it has to be something of the Spirit and not of the flesh, we like the person but we see that there is no spiritual condition for a certain responsibility; then we cannot act through friendship.
- We can never cover up a friend’s mistake, or support them in what is wrong, we would not actually be true friends, seeing them walk towards evil and stay silent about the situation, affecting with them the work of God and allowing their life to be destroyed.
- Feeding a friendship that does not contribute to our spiritual wellbeing is not wise, if we see that the person is not spiritual, likes to contaminate you, likes to gossip, is inclined to worldly things; adds nothing good to your live, stay away from her. This does not mean you’re a bad friend, but that you take care of your salvation above all.
As you can see, we have friends; we do not have a friendship with evil, with what is wrong, because the work of God is above all this.
Who is friend of God is meant to be our friend, if you live in illusions and are not on the side of what is good, I’m sorry, but you cannot be considered my friend.
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?” 2 Corinthians 6:14

thany you for this post!when we find a friend of the same faith apped in our life didinding different experiences lived by each one and pleases to the God is wonderful but if we meet those that pretended be friend to destroy you immediately you must remove from your life likes the person or do not I have a habit of chosing in the finger who I want close to me is very important to know how to be into constant growth with GOD.IN FAITH
This message is so deep.
Many young adults tend to depend too much on what their friends say or think and that is where it all goes wrong. As women of God we should be the one above our friends.
Thank you Ms Tania for this message.
Kisses…
Thank you Mrs Tania, this message is very true many young woman has been led astray by bad company, their vision of serving God has been rejected by friends corrupted in their minds. This calls an awareness to all Gods children to be careful to protect their faith because the bible says ‘Bad company corrupts a good character’
Thank you
Kisses..
I agree with the statement made above because we cannot be friends with unbelievers and we cannot put our Salvation on hold because of friends and they contaminate us.
Thank Mrs Tania for the massage. it is very strong and i really learned from the massage because it is like that, straight forward.

Interesting blog post! Sometimes we are afraid of what people will think of us and we forget what God thinks of us. This teaches me to consider the ways God more and try to please Him and not my desire…
Thank you for this message
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
If i once lived in dackness and now i am walking in light what am i doing back to dackness. The world separates us from heaven (GOD) so my fall will be when i stop praying and feeding my spiritual life. and thank you light has nothing to do with dackness. so does the children of God have nothing to do with the children of the devil because its war and is not againts flesh and blood but in spirit so thats why i have to be in spirit at all times.
Thank you for this post. A tough thing for me has always been friendships and knowing limits and the right way to be around others who will not contaminate my faith. Mainly, I’m still learning that if I have to be a “bad friend” by putting my salvation above all else, then so be it.
Very true statement, “do not be yorked with unbelievers” this blog is helping me so much especielly for the reason that I have a desire to do the work of God on the altar
